The Janitza UMG 96RM series encompasses a range of versatile universal meters, each designed to meet specific needs in energy management and monitoring. The foundation of this series is the UMG 96RM, a multifunctional power analyzer equipped with essential features such as Modbus RTU communication via RS485, measurement up to the 40th harmonic, THD-U/THD-I measurements, two digital outputs, and real-time online measurement values.
Within the UMG 96RM series, there are various models with unique characteristics:
- UMG 96RM-P (Profibus): This model stands out with Profibus communication, USB connectivity, and 256MB of internal memory for storing historical measurement values. It also has a fourth current measurement input and multiple digital outputs and inputs.
- UMG 96RM-M (M-Bus): Specially designed for M-Bus communication, this model offers an alternative to standard Modbus RTU communication.
- UMG 96RM-E (Ethernet): Featuring Ethernet connectivity for Modbus TCP/IP and a Modbus gateway, as well as an internal web server. This model also has ample internal memory, multiple digital outputs and inputs, two temperature inputs, and can detect short interruptions.
- UMG 96RM-PN (Profinet): Equipped with Profinet communication, multiple digital outputs and inputs, and two temperature inputs.
