The ILME C-Type series enclosures are the standard connector housings for any type of insert. The C-Type series includes many features that are characteristic of ILME. This series offers the largest selection of sizes and enclosures, a unique stainless steel locking handle with a roller and double spring, an easy-to-install profile collar gasket, and much more.
The C-Type enclosure is made of aluminum and, along with the stainless steel locking mechanism, provides a versatile and robust solution for various applications. The enclosure is resistant to temperatures from -40°C to 125°C and features a 2- or 4-fold locking mechanism with tolerance compensation, a profile collar gasket with durable NBR material for both internal and external profile collars, an (IK impact-resistant) epoxy-based powder coating (threads are not coated), interchangeable thermoplastic handles, and standard mounting holes that are compatible with industry standards.
