The EX BF 80 series from Steute has been developed for the safe activation and interruption of electromechanical processes in hazardous explosive environments. These devices are designed for both indoor and outdoor use and are distinguished by their high protection classes and corrosion resistance. The EX BF 80 series also complies with the highest safety standards for explosion and dust ignition protection. Moreover, this series is certified according to ATEX and IECEx.
The new series is available in three enclosure sizes, accommodating one, two, or three control elements. Users can choose from a wide range of operating components, indicator lights, and key switches. This includes emergency stop buttons and mushroom-head actuators. The devices are suitable for switching capacities up to 3000 VA (AC-12), 1000 VA (AC-15), or 110 W (DC-13).
