The Ex ES 97 2G/D position switch from steute is a robust position switch for use in explosive areas (ATEX) 1 and 21, built according to the EN 50047 standard. The position switch is equipped with a plastic housing and has an IP66/IP67/IP69/IP69K sealing for a high degree of protection against water and dust.
The switch is supplied without a cable so that the user can connect a cable of their choice. For this purpose, the position switch is provided with a connection compartment with contact blocks, and an explosion-proof cable gland (M20x1.5mm) is included. Due to the compact width of only 22.5 mm, it is easy to integrate into both existing and new machines and installations. The switch is shock-resistant and self-extinguishing.
