The Smart Signaling 50 series from Auer Signal is a range of industrial signal lamps, developed for applications where clarity, good visibility and easy integration are key. All Smart Signaling 50 lamps are designed for installation in a standard M22 mounting hole (22 mm). This allows the lamps, in many cases, to replace existing signal lamps or push buttons on a one-to-one basis, without modification of the panel. For installations with an 30 mm mounting hole, an adapter is available, allowing the Smart Signaling 50 series to be easily applied. The electrical connection is made via a 5-pin M12 connector, ensuring fast, unambiguous and reproducible installation.
High visibility in a compact format
Despite the compact design, the Smart Signaling 50 series offers a high light output, ensuring that signals remain clearly visible under a wide range of conditions, including ambient light. Depending on the version, fixed colours or multicolour signals are available. The signal lamps are available with a housing in black, white or stainless steel, allowing them to integrate both functionally and visually with various machines and environments, including hygienic applications.
Function lines: Basic, Standard and IO-Link
The Smart Signaling 50 series is available in three function lines: Basic, Standard and IO-Link. All versions share the same mechanical and electronic base and offer the same robust industrial quality. The differences lie in functionality, colour options and communication.
- The Basic version is intended for fixed signalling with one, two or three colours and fixed operating modes. The lamp monitors its own operation and visually indicates internal deviations.
- The Standard version extends this with additional functionality, including more colour options (up to seven colours) and additional internal monitoring, such as temperature monitoring and controlled switch-on behaviour.
- The IO-Link version builds on this and also makes settings, status and diagnostic information available remotely via the control system. This allows parameters to be adjusted centrally and ensures that the status of the signal lamp remains continuously visible.
Smart Dot Touch: signalling and operation in one
Within the series, the Smart Dot Touch is also available. This version combines optical signalling with a capacitive touch button. The touch function can be operated reliably, even with gloves, allowing operation and signalling to be combined in a single component.
