The RDMOL series from Auer Signal provides reliable low-intensity obstacle lighting for tall structures such as buildings, masts, cranes and wind turbines. The lights are designed in accordance with international ICAO and FAA guidelines for low-intensity Type A, B and E lighting. This ensures compliance with the requirements for obstacle lighting up to a maximum height of 45 metres, ideal for fixed installations in industrial and outdoor applications.
Durable and low-maintenance design
The RDMOL series is available in two versions: a
24 V AC/DC version suitable for battery power and emergency applications, and a
110–240 V AC version for fixed installations on mains voltage. Both models feature a robust aluminium housing, a UV-stable polycarbonate lens and modern LED technology. This ensures long-lasting, low-maintenance operation even under harsh environmental conditions. The IP66 and IK08 protection classes guarantee high resistance to dust, water and mechanical impact, while the energy-efficient LEDs provide bright and uniform illumination with minimal maintenance requirements.
Adjustable types
The RDMOL series can be configured via a dip switch for low-intensity Type A, B or E lighting. Type A and Type B produce steady red light with a minimum intensity of 10 and 32 candela respectively, while Type E is a flashing version with a minimum intensity of 32 candela. This flexible configuration makes a single model suitable for a wide range of applications within the low-intensity category.
