The Safegate series of safety light curtains is a modularly constructed series that offers the right solution for every application. Various models are available, such as programmable or non-programmable, with or without an indicator light, with or without muting, etc. Additionally, they can be easily expanded with options like muting arms, available in various models. Long range
The S 2B, 3B, or 4B LR-A (ILP) series light curtains are Long Range (LR) light curtains where the distance between the transmitter and receiver can be up to 80 meters. The light curtains are available with 2, 3, or 4 beams (2B, 3B, and 4B), which is why these light curtains are also called ‘access control safety light curtains’ as they should only be used for passage protection (detection of persons).
Different detection heights
The series is available in different detection heights ranging from 510 to 910 mm and have a Type 4 & PL e safety classification. An M12 connector can be used for connecting the light curtains (5p for the transmitter, 8p for the receiver). The series features a choice of manually or automatically adjustable restart after detection. The screens are equipped with LEDs for reading the status of the light curtain and do not have an internal muting function.
ILP - Integrated Laser Pointer
The S 2B, 3B, or 4B LR-A series is also available as an ILP model. These models are equipped with an integrated laser pointer, making it easy to align the light curtains. This is particularly useful for these long-range models, as manually aligning the transmitter and receiver at a great distance is not easy.
