Safety Light Curtain EOS4 - Type 4
The ReeR EOS4 Safety Light Curtain is a compact light curtain with safety levels SIL3, SILCL3, PL e, and Cat. 4. The ReeR EOS4 Safety Light Curtain consists of two different models, the EOS4 X and EOS4 A.
The ReeR EOS4 X model includes integrated safety functions, including output control and monitoring of external switching contacts (EDM), as well as automatic or manual start/reset. The EOS4 A model has automatic start/reset. The external switching contacts (EDM) are monitored by a safety relay, ReeR Mosaic, or safety PLC.
Features of Type 4 light curtain:
- Type 4 according to EN 61496-1; IEC 61496-2
- SIL 3 according to IEC 61508
- SILCL according to IEC 62061
- PL e - Cat. 4 according to EN ISO 13849-1
- Possibility of a waterproof, heated, and UV-resistant housing (EOS4 WTF/WTHF)
The light curtain is equipped with LED indicators that display the status.
