De DTECT® Object 3D is an industrial 3D sensor with active stereo technology that detects and evaluates objects based on surface area and volume, rather than contrast or colour. The detection and evaluation of objects take place entirely within the sensor, without external lighting, a PC, software or licences. This makes the DTECT® Object 3D a practical alternative to complex vision solutions.
Easy teaching-in and configuration on the sensorTeaching-in and configuration are carried out directly on the sensor via the integrated colour display and the operating buttons. The relevant detection area can be easily adapted to the application, making integration into existing control systems straightforward. The sensor is equipped with an all-round visible status indicator that shows the operating status and the OK/NOK result.
Different detection distancesThe DTECT® Object 3D is available in two versions with different detection distances, allowing the sensor to be used in both compact setups and applications with a greater distance to the object. Thanks to the high scanning speed, the sensor is suitable for dynamic processes such as conveyor belts and vibratory feeders. Typical applications for the SenoPart DTECT Object 3D include completeness checks, presence or absence detection and position control of objects.
