Ludemann's advice
For every sensitive component such as, for example, control valves, pressure regulators, pressure relief valves, and condensate drains, Ludemann recommends a filter to prevent contamination from impurities such as sand, rust, etc.
Our filters protect against such deposits, thereby safeguarding your investments and the productivity of your installations.
Ludemann filters are – thanks to various materials and special coatings – suitable for the most diverse media such as water, oil, compressed air, and steam. They can be installed horizontally or vertically in pipelines. It is advisable to install a shut-off valve before and after the filter to be able to clean the sieve (e.g., during the complete emptying of the installation).
The medium flows through a sieve through the filter. The specific cleaning action of this sieve depends on the chosen mesh size. Dirt particles are stopped and collected by the sieve. With regular cleaning of the sieve, the deposited dirt particles can be easily removed. Furthermore, our filters are virtually maintenance-free and do not require special operation or similar.
