The Weldable Resistance Thermometers Type TP13 and TP15 are high-performance, robust, and versatile devices designed for demanding temperature measuring applications.
The PT100 sensor is standardly designed in accuracy class A according to EN 60751. The measurement inserts consist of single- or double-PT100, which are interchangeable. The use of measurement inserts should be tailored to temperature, length, flexibility, vibration-proofness, and measuring accuracy requirements. For control processes, tapered sensor tips with extra-short half-life times are available.
Safety and cost-effectiveness recommend constructions with protective tubes in case of a necessary probe change. This allows quick and comfortable replacements without decommissioning the plant or draining the tanks. Protective tubes also ensure resistance against mechanical stress and chemical attacks, designed for a quick response time.
For sensitive measuring points, as required in the food and pharmaceutical industry, suitable hygienic designs and versions are available. Cleaning with all common media (CIP etc.) in these industries is possible. The construction in protection class IP67 guarantees reliability for closeness and long durability even under extreme operating conditions.
For measurement transmission purposes, programmable transmitters with 4...20 mA, in HART or Profibus PA versions, can be installed. The QUICKTEMP product family is notably recommended for calibration obligatory measurement points.
