The DAPS quarter turn drives are specially tailored to the requirements of the process industry. The torque is generated via a scotch yoke mechanism, which helps to overcome the high shutdown times of the valve. Given their robustness and graduated torques, the DAPS quarter turn drives are mainly used to control the valves through which different medium flows and whose angle of rotation is limited to 90 °, e.g. ball valves and butterfly valves.
