FT43 Cast Iron Ball Float Steam Trap DN25 to DN50
?The Spirax Sarco FT43 is a
cast iron closed-float condensate trap with
stainless steel interior and
built-in thermostatic air vent. The condensate trap is equipped with integrated flange connections and can be maintained without being removed. Available with horizontal or vertical (FT43V) connections. The flow direction for the horizontal version is clearly indicated below. For the vertical version, the flow direction is from top to bottom. A tapped connection 3/8" BSP or NPT at the bottom of the housing, for connecting a drain pipe. To be specified when ordering.
Available options:
FT43 - Horizontal flow
FT43V - Vertical flow
Capsule (thermostatic element):
Spirax Sarco uses the BP99/32 capsule as the thermostatic element. This capsule can withstand overheating at 150C at 0 bar eff. and 50C at 32 bar eff.
Standards:
The product complies with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC (PED) and carries the CE label where necessary.
Certificates:
Upon request, the product is available with a "Type Test Report" certificate according to EN10204:2004.
Optional extras
- A manually adjustable needle valve (FT43-C). This option prevents steam lock release (SLR). A permanent leak is created through the air vent.
- A tapped connection 3/8" BSP or NPT at the top of the housing, for connecting a balance line. To be specified when ordering
- A tapped connection 3/8" BSP or NPT at the bottom of the housing, for connecting a drain pipe. To be specified when ordering.
