531 Inline Sight Glass With welding connections PN16, PN40
The ACI flow sight glass, known as Type 531, utilizes the same tested basic construction as Type 530 and is therefore significantly lighter than comparable fittings with a cast housing. Similar to Type 530, only high-quality materials are employed in a tightly controlled process from issuing the offer to delivery, ensuring that the fitting meets your specific requirements.
The Type 531 features viewing windows facing each other, allowing for the observation and illumination of the flowing medium. In the standard configuration, these windows consist of proven borosilicate glass according to the norm DIN 7080. If this highly resistant glass is not sufficient, we can manufacture special glasses made of quartz or sapphire tailored to your specific requirements.
Sealing is provided by quality gaskets from well-known suppliers, selected based on the requirements of your individual use. In addition to widespread aramid fibre material seals such as KlingerSIL C4400, we also use seal plates made of graphite with or without a metal insert, pure or expanded PTFE, or in extreme operating conditions, mica compound seals.
