521 High Pressure Sight Glass With welding ends, up to 1000 bar
The ACI high-pressure sight glass, known as Type 521, features a robust steel or stainless steel body and two sight glass discs specially manufactured for high operating pressures in accordance with DIN 7080. In the standard version, like most of our high-pressure sight glasses, it comes with high-quality graphite gaskets for sealing, typically meeting TA-Luft approval.
The opposing sight openings enable observation of the process from both sides or X-ray examination of the medium as needed.
Type 521 is equipped with two welding ends and can be directly installed into your plant upon delivery. We align with the pipe dimensions of DIN EN 1092-1, but other connection dimensions are also possible upon request. In small nominal diameters, the connection pieces are formed directly from the sight glass housing, eliminating additional welding seams on the sight glass fitting. This ensures short delivery times, avoids mechanical weak points, and maintains even surfaces inside the body.
For extremely high operating temperatures, the Type 521 Flow Sight Glass can be equipped with high-quality special glass based on quartz or sapphire glass, along with flat gaskets based on mica.
The flow sight glass Type 521 is well-suited for chemically demanding applications such as acids or alkaline solutions.
