595 Four Way Sight Glass With Flanged Connections
The ACI four-way flow sight glass Type 595 is designed with four connection flanges, allowing seamless installation in your system as a crosspiece.
This unique structure makes Type 595 particularly well-suited for observing mixing processes or flow dividers.
The viewports of Type 595 are crafted from the same proven borosilicate glass according to DIN 7080, which has been successfully used for years in many of our sight glass fittings. This glass can withstand higher temperatures of up to 280°C and is resistant to most acids.
For reliable sealing of the sight glass openings, we utilize established flat seals from renowned manufacturers such as KlingerSIL C4400 and Frenzelit novaphit MST. Additionally, we offer the option to install permanently elastic seals made of EPDM, NBR, or silicon directly at the factory for you. If your operating conditions fall outside our standard range, we collaborate with you to find the best solution for your individual usage case.
There are virtually no limits to the choice of casing material. Type 595 is available in the usual steel qualities for pressure container structures, such as S235JRG2 or P265GH, as well as corrosion-resistant stainless steel like 1.4571 or 1.4404, widely used internationally. If these diverse alloys do not meet your requirements, we can also manufacture Type 595 on request using Hastelloy or other special alloys.
