2780 Diverter ball valve made of gunmetal with threaded connections
Similar to what has already been achieved with the stainless steel series 2700, the bronze Diverter ball valve 2780 features a flow geometry with very low pressure loss. This ensures better operation of the safety valves mounted on the changeover ball valve. Additionally, unlike vertically mounted safety valves, connections for rupture discs are also available.
Due to the consistent cleaning of all components, the bronze Diverter ball valve is also optimally suited for use in oxygen systems. ADiverter ball valve designed for the installation of, for example, two safety valves in combination with rupture discs for the protection of containers intended for the storage of cryogenic gases.
The requirements of the PED regarding redundant or diverse safety devices are met by this assembly in combination with safety valves series 2400. Two additional connections for rupture discs are available on each side. If the safety valves need maintenance or the rupture discs need to be replaced, the side that requires maintenance can be closed.

- Cryogenic liquified gases, such as LIN, LOX, LAr, CO2, LNG.
- N2 in pharmaceutical/food applications
- O2 for medical delivery equipment
- CO2 for food/industrial applications
