Installation:
Downstream of the condensate trap, in both horizontal and vertical pipes. For condensate traps with intermittent condensate discharge, such as the thermodynamic or inverted bucket condensate trap, place this sight glass at least 1m downstream of the condensate traps to prevent erosion or breakage of the glass due to thermal shocks or pressure surges. Also, take necessary measures to prevent injury to personnel or bystanders in case of potential glass breakage.
