Installation Instructions:
Always install a valve before and after the sight glass. Close the valve before the sight glass first to prevent overpressure. Install the sight glass downstream of the condensate trap, both in horizontal and vertical pipes. For condensate traps with intermittent condensate discharge, such as the thermodynamic or inverted bucket condensate trap, place this sight glass at least 1m downstream of the condensate traps to prevent glass erosion or breakage due to thermal shocks or pressure surges. Also, take necessary measures to prevent injury to personnel or bystanders in case of glass breakage. Install it in a readily accessible manner to allow for maintenance.
