AE50S Automatic Air and Gas Vent for Liquid Systems
The AE50S is an automatic float-type air vent used for removing gases from pressurized liquid systems, with a welded housing in RVS 304L.

These products are available with a certificate according to EN 10204 3.1 for housing, cover, and inlet. Certificates are only provided upon request during the ordering process.
Diameters and Connections:
Inlet: external thread BSP or NPT
Outlet: external thread BSP or NPT
Installation:
Vertical with the inlet downwards. In liquid circuits, an air vent should be installed at all high points of the installation where gas can accumulate. All automatic liquid air vents can 'weep' due to dirt deposits on the valve. Therefore, it is recommended to provide a drain line from the outlet to a safe location.
Installation on an overheated water circuit:
When used in overheated water circuits, we recommend providing a 1 to 2m 3/4 line upstream of the vent. Size the drain to allow any revaporization steam to be safely vented during normal operation. Additionally, the drain should be directed to a safe location to prevent anyone from sustaining burns.
Replacement:
If the AE50S is being replaced, isolate it from the network. It is advisable to provide an upstream valve that can withstand the design conditions of the piping system. Before manipulation, allow the air vent to cool.
