DCV41 Disk Check Valve
The DCV41 is a disk check valve made of austenitic stainless steel with threaded or socket weld connections. It prevents backflow in various industrial media in process pipelines, hot water, steam, and condensate systems.
For oil and gases, a Viton seal is available. For water, an EPDM seal is available. Versions with a soft seal ensure a leak-free or bubble-tight seal, thereby conforming to EN 12266-1 Rate A, provided there is a pressure difference.
Versions with soft seals are not available with socket weld connections. The leak tightness of the standard version conforms to EN 12266-1 Rate E. With a reinforced spring and EPDM seal, the check valve is suitable for boiler feed applications. A reset spring is available for temperatures up to 400C.

Reinforced spring (opening pressure 700 mbar) for boiler feed.
Spring for high temperatures
Viton seal for oils and gases (threaded version only)
EPDM seal for water (threaded version only)
Standards:
Designed and manufactured in accordance with BS 7438. The product complies with the requirements of the European Pressure Equipment Directive.
Leak tightness:
The standard version complies with EN 12266-1 Rate E. Versions with a soft seal comply with EN 12266-1 Rate A, provided there is a pressure difference.
Certificates:
These products are available with a certificate according to EN 10204 3.1. Certificates must be explicitly mentioned when ordering.
Diameters and connections:
", ", and 1": internal thread BSP according to BS 21, on request NPT according to ASME B 1.20.1, or socket weld according to ASME B16.11 Class 3000.
Disk check valves open under pressure from the medium and close by means of a reset spring when the flow stops, even before reverse flow occurs.
The different options are identifiable by the marking on the housing of the check valve:
- 'N' - Spring for high temperature - Standard metal seat
- 'W' - Without spring - Standard metal seat
- WV - Without spring - Viton seat
- WE - Without spring - EPDM seat
- 'H' - Reinforced spring - Standard metal seat
- HV - Reinforced spring - Viton seat
- HE - Reinforced spring - EPDM seat
- 'V' - Standard spring - Viton seat
- 'E' - Standard spring - EPDM seat
- No marking means standard spring with metal seal.
