DCV10 / DCV10C Centrally Guided Disc Check Valve
The DCV10 (cast stainless steel) and DCV10C (galvanized cast carbon steel) are disc check valves specifically designed for installation between flanges and for use with pumps and general cyclic applications. They are suitable for a wide range of fluids for use in process pipelines, hot water systems, steam and condensate systems, etc.
The centrally guided design ensures improved lifespan along with better reliability compared to traditional check valves. The check valves ensure the correct flow direction of condensate or other suitable fluids and also prevent backflow.
Standards:
Designed and manufactured in accordance with
BS EN 14341:2006. The check valve fully complies with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (
PED 2014/68/EU) and bears the CE marking if required.
Leak Tightness:
Sealing is in accordance with
EN 12266-1:2003 Rate F.

Pressure and Temperature Limits:
See datasheet
Operation:
The
DCV10 and
DCV10C disc check valves open under pressure from the medium and close by means of a reset spring when the flow stops and this occurs before reverse flow can occur.
Installation Note:
The
DCV10 and
DCV10C can be installed in both horizontal and vertical pipes, with the flow direction according to the arrow on the housing.
Note: Flanges, bolts (or studs), nuts, and gaskets should be provided by the installer.
