PF51G Bronze Piston Actuated On/Off Valves
Pneumatically operated 2-way valve with inclined spindle, bronze housing, suitable for water, compressed air, oil, gases, and steam. The valve is opened or closed using compressed air on the piston, with a return spring. The valve is equipped with a PTFE ring (G) for a perfect seal. The standard and version with stroke limiter feature a valve position indicator.
The pneumatic valves are available with 3 types of servomotor:
- Type 1 (45 mm)
- Type 2 (63 mm)
- Type 3 (90 mm)
In the following configurations:
- NC (normally closed): The valve is suitable for flow above the valve (port 1 to 2). Note: Not recommended to prevent water hammer.
- NO (normally open): The valve is suitable for flow below the valve (port 2 to 1). Can be used to prevent water hammer when closing the valve with liquids.
- BD (bi-directional, normally closed): The valve is designed for applications with bi-directional flow and is of the anti-water hammer type for liquids with flow direction below the valve (from port 2 to 1). Note: To avoid water hammer in liquids with flow direction above the valve (port 1 to 2), the pressure must be lower than 1 bar eff.
