Steri-trol Aseptic Service Two-port Pneumatic Control Valves - DN15 (") to DN100 (4")
The STERI-TROL S is a series of two- and 3-way control valves in stainless steel (RVS 316L). They are suitable for mixing (3-way version) and for ON/OFF or modulating control of pure steam, pure vapor, and process fluids. The valve is operated by a pneumatic servo motor and can be integrated into the control system with a Spirax-Sarco valve positioner.
Available types:
- SA: 2-way valve, angled design
- SH: 2-way valve, parallel design
- SQ: 3-way valve
Valve Characteristics - Options:
- SAE SHE: Equi-percent (E) - suitable for most modulating controls, provides good control at low flow rates.
- SAL SHL SQL: Linear (L) - mainly for flow control of liquids with constant differential pressure across the control valve.
Important Note:
Throughout this document, the valve SAE is mentioned. With the exception of the valve characteristic and pattern, SAE, SHE, SAL, and SHL are identical.
Certificates and Approvals:
In accordance with ASME BPE 2002. Gaskets conform to FDA, 3A, and USP Class VI. Designed in accordance with 3A and EHEDG.
Material certificate according to EN 10204 type 3.1: on request. Finish grade certificate: on request.
Sealing - Options:
- S: Metal (standard): Stainless Steel
- V: Soft seal: White Viton for a perfect seal.
Valve Stem Packing - Options:
- E: EPDM (standard) 3A and FDA approved.
- V: White Viton 3A, FDA, and USP26 Class VI approved.
