High performance sight glass fitting Type 326 - high temperature and high pressure
The ACI Tank Sight Glass Type 326 represents an advanced variation of the well-known Type 321/323. It is specifically designed for a diverse range of applications, especially those involving higher temperatures and pressures. This superior sight glass is utilized for observing and illuminating the interiors of closed vessels such as boilers, tanks, and silos.
Unlike Type 321, where PTFE-encapsulated gaskets are commonly employed, the Type 326 addresses the safety concerns associated with temperatures exceeding 200°C. To overcome this limitation, we use high-quality gaskets made from graphite, mica, or carbon fiber. As a result, the Type 326 offers an extended operating range for the sight glass fitting, exceeding 400°C. These sight glasses are engineered for continuous operation under elevated temperatures and pressures.
