Inline sight glass type 550 S with welding ends
The ACI inline sight glass Type 550S with a cast body is a robust flow sight glass designed for welding ends.
Type 550S is available in various steel and cast stainless steel alloys with pressure equipment approval, such as GG-25, GS-C25, or 1.4408. Other alloys like Alloy C22 are also available upon request to meet your specifications.
The standard inline sight glass Type 550S comes with welding ends, but other common standards like welding sockets are also possible.
Sealing for Type 550S is achieved using proven flat materials from renowned manufacturers, such as KlingerSIL C4400 or Frenzelit novaphit MST. Pure or modified PTFE, Garlock Gylon, and various other sealing materials are also available.
For higher operating temperatures or alkaline media, the sight glass can be equipped with an additional mica protection layer.
The installation of cleaning devices, such as wipers with PTFE, silicone, or NBR wiper blades, or spray nozzles, is possible at the factory with Type 550S. Luminaires with halogen or LED light sources, including those with ATEX approval, are also available upon request.
