Angled Sight Glass Type 570
Explore the ACI Angled Sight Glass Type 570, an inline sight glass featuring 90° offset connecting flanges, making it ideal for installation on pipe bends. The inspection windows are crafted from borosilicate glass according to DIN 7080, capable of withstanding most chemicals without restrictions. For alkaline media and high temperatures, we recommend an additional mica pane to protect the glass surface.
Sealing materials include high-quality flat gaskets from renowned manufacturers. The standard KlingerSIL C4400 aramid fiber gaskets are suitable for most applications. For advanced needs, we provide Frenzelit novaphit MST graphite gaskets, gasket sheets of pure or modified PTFE, and a stock of soft sealing materials like silicone, EPDM, or NBR.
The body is expertly crafted from our selection of high-quality steel and stainless steel alloys with pressure equipment approval. Whether it's steel grades like P265GH or corrosion-resistant stainless steel alloys like 1.4404 and 1.4571, we can fulfill any requirement. Special alloys such as Hastelloy are available upon request.
Connecting flanges are tailored to fit DIN EN 1092-1 flanges, and we can also accommodate other standards like ASME B16.5 or even manufacture special flanges based on your unique specifications.
Just like our other sight glass fittings with round sight windows, these sight glasses can be equipped with cleaning devices such as windscreen wipers and spray nozzles. Halogen and LED lights are also directly available from the factory.
