Inline sight glass type 551V with internal thread for vacuum application
The ACI flow sight glass, Type 551V, features a threaded connection, cast body, and internal thread connection specifically designed for vacuum applications.
The sight glasses are crafted from proven borosilicate industrial glass according to DIN 7080, ensuring high resistance to most media. For alkaline media and high temperatures, we recommend installing a mica screen to provide additional protection to the glass surface.
We use our proven O-ring seals from well-known manufacturers for sealing. In addition to Viton O-rings, the flow sight glass type 551V can also be equipped with EPDM or NBR O-rings. Other sealing materials such as silicone and PTFE are also available.
Type 551V is available in various common steel and cast stainless steel alloys such as GG25 and 1.4408. Special materials such as Hastelloy can be supplied upon request.
