Screw-in resistance thermometer - Type TP38/TW39
Description:
The TP38 series resistance thermometers are powerful, robust, and universally applicable devices for demanding temperature recording tasks. The process connection of the device is a G3/8" screw-in thread with a union nut and a captive seal. The protective sleeves can be adapted to the operating conditions. The metallic contact of the measuring insert in the sleeve tip ensures optimal response times.
The Pt100 temperature sensor in the jacket measuring insert is designed with accuracy class A according to EN 60751 as standard. The measuring inserts are single or double PT100, which are interchangeable. The use of the measuring inserts must be designed to meet the requirements with regard to temperature, length, flexibility, vibration resistance, and measuring accuracy. Tapered sensor tips for particularly short half-lives are available for control processes.
Safety and cost-effectiveness aspects suggest designs with protective tubes, as any sensor replacement that may be necessary can be carried out conveniently and quickly without having to shut down the system or empty tanks. In addition, protective tubes guarantee resistance to mechanical stress and chemical attacks, also designed in a quick-response design.
Appropriate hygienic designs and designs are available for sensitive measuring points, such as those required in the food industry and pharmaceuticals. Cleaning with all media commonly used in these industries (CIP etc.) is possible. The IP67 and IP69K construction reliably guarantee tightness and a long service life even under extreme operating conditions.
Programmable transmitters 4...20 mA, HART, or Profibus PA versions can be installed to transmit measured values. The installation of 2 transmitters is optionally possible.
