Description:
The digital display and switching module - Type DIS - is a 4-digit LED display with optional 2 limit values for attachment to pressure transducers in field and standard housings. It is a combination of intelligent pressure switch and digital display device and was designed for universal process printing-relevant applications. The display module can be retrofitted.
The DIS is designed as standard for measuring transducers with a 4...20 mA / 2-wire analog output and enables the local reading of a system pressure at the measuring location. The front display can be rotated by approx. - 120° / + 210°, the entire housing can be rotated by approx. 300º, so that display positions depending on the installation position can be quickly adjusted.
The display and switching module is freely programmable using two keys on the front of the membrane keyboard. The integrated software allows the configuration of the scaling, access protection, the decimal point, the damping, the switching points and other parameters that are stored in an EEPROM and are retained even in the event of a power failure.
The switching points can be freely configured independently of each other in the range of 0...100% of the nominal pressure. Additional LEDs show the status of the switching outputs. The integrated diagnostic system constantly monitors all functions of the display.
