336 Oval tank Sight glass For welding PN6
The ACI sight glass Type 336 is designed in an oval shape, serving as a tank sight glass. Its unique geometry allows for not only the observation of processes but also functions as a reliable filling level indicator.
We utilize industry-proven borosilicate glass, similar to DIN7081, as the glass material. This glass is inherently highly resistant to most acids. However, in the presence of strong alkaline media, we offer the option to use one of our custom-made mica or FEP shields to protect the glass surface.
The fitting undergoes a Lloyd´s Register design appraisal for added quality assurance.
Gasket sealing is achieved with flat gaskets tailored to your specific needs, sourced from an extensive range of materials. In addition to commonly used fiber gaskets, we provide more advanced materials such as PTFE (Teflon®), NBR, graphite, and various branded gaskets.
Our tank sight glasses of Type 336 are crafted from high-quality stainless steel 1.4571 (316Ti), a material valued by our customers for many years. Similar to most of our fittings, the Type 336 is available in a variety of materials upon request.
