The ACI rectangular level indicator Type 337 is a convenient and easy-to-mount solution for the industrial-grade borosilicate sight glass plates according to DIN 7081 or similar standards.
The industry norm DIN 7081 specifies the use of sight glasses of varying lengths in both "Transparent" and "Reflex" versions. Transparent glass refers to simple, smooth glass plates that can be equipped with protective layers made of mica or other materials like KEL-F if the operating conditions demand it. We recommend the reflex type for use with clear, colorless liquids, as the grooves in this type enhance the visibility of the liquid level compared to the transparent version.
Our tank sight glasses of Type 337 are crafted from high-quality stainless steel 1.4571 (316Ti), a material valued by our customers for many years. Similar to most of our fittings, Type 337 is available in a variety of materials upon request.
The sealing of the fitting is achieved with flat gaskets customized to your specific needs, sourced from an extensive range of materials. In addition to widely used fiber gaskets, we provide more advanced materials such as PTFE (Teflon®), NBR, graphite, and various branded gaskets.
