UBP32 Sealed Balanced Pressure Thermostatic Steam Trap for use with Pipeline Connectors
The UBP32 is a stainless steel, maintenance-friendly thermostatic condensate trap based on the pressure balance principle, suitable for pressures up to 32 bar eff. The UBP32 is mounted on a suitable pipe connector, allowing for easy and quick removal or replacement of the condensate trap without breaking the pipeline. Pipe connectors are available with threaded, socket weld, or flange connections. There is a version with a built-in check valve: UBP32CV
Operation of the capsule:
In standard configuration, the UBP32 comes with a thermostatic capsule that operates approximately 12C below the saturation curve (STD). There are also versions with capsules for 4C (NTS) and 22C (SUB) subcooling.
Standards:
This product fully complies with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC. The body and cover are welded according to ASME Section IX and BS/EN 288.

The UBP32 can be mounted with various types of universal couplings:
- PC10 Universal coupling ANSI/ASME 300 (TI-P128-10)
- PC10HP Universal coupling ANSI/ASME 600 (TI-P128-10)
- PC3_ Universal coupling with built-in plunger valve ANSI/ASME 600 (TI-P128-02)
- PC4_ Universal coupling with 2 built-in plunger valves ANSI/ASME 600 (TI-P128-03)

Depending on the filling, the thermostat capsule responds at 12C, 22C, or 4C below the steam saturation temperature. The condensate trap can be mounted in any plane.
