BTS7 Balanced Pressure Thermostatic Steam Trap
The BTS7 is a closed pressure balanced condensate pot designed for draining systems using pure steam with minimal condensate backup. Applications include sterile steam barriers, process vessels, and CIP/SIP systems. The condensate pot is entirely manufactured from stainless steel 316L with minimal openings, is self-draining, and opens across the entire pressure range close to the steam curve. The condensate pots are individually packaged with protective shielding caps over the pipe connections and sealed in a polyethylene bag.
Options: Permanent leakage to prevent backup in case of malfunction.
Special connections possible for most piping systems.
Standards:
Designed in general compliance with ASME BPE. Also in accordance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive. All parts in contact with the condensate are made from FDA-approved materials.

In a vertical pipe with the flow direction, following the arrow on the housing and downwards so that the condensate pot is fully self-draining. Do not expose the capsule to overheating due to the risk of damage. Provide the necessary valves for safe maintenance/replacement.
