SCS20 Sample Cooler - System
The sample coolers are used for sampling boiler water, process fluids, or steam from a pressure vessel (high temperature and pressure).
The cooling element consists of a stainless steel serpentine through which the sample flows and a stainless steel housing around it through which the cooling water flows in the opposite direction. The sample cooler is equipped with a bracket for mounting at both ends. The SCS20 is also available with a ferrule for mounting with an industrial, sanitary clamp .

Available Types:
The sample cooler SC20 is available in 5 variants:
- BSP connection (6mm O/D tubing).
- NPT connection (6mm O/D tubing). A coupling NPT x 6mm O/D is included separately to connect the serpentine inlet to an NPT valve or fitting.
- BSP sampling system (SCS20), consisting of sample cooler, needle valve, cooling water valve, and carbon steel fittings.
- BSP sampling system (SCS20), but with stainless steel fittings and a standard cooling water valve.
- A sample cooler (BSP or NPT) with a ferrule, suitable for connection to an industrial, sanitary clamp (clamp not included).
A special sanitary sample cooler (SSC20), with BSP or NPT connections. Sample cooler with serpentine with a specified internal finish, see separate literature.

Note:
The sample cooler SC20 is not polished, nor internally treated specially. The internal finish is not specified. Stainless steel fittings are available separately: BSP male x 6 mm O/D tubing, NPT male x 6 mm O/D tubing.
