AEL3 Electric Actuators
The AEL3 is an electric actuator controlled by a stepper motor. It is suitable for use on Spira-trol 2-way valves and QL 3-way valves up to size DN50.
Available Types:
The actuator is standardly provided with 24 Vac/dc power supply voltage. Other power supply voltages (230 Vac, 100-110 Vac) are possible by installing an additional module.
The actuator is standardly equipped for control with VMD (Valve Motor Drive), 4 20 mA, and 0 10 Vdc control signals (2-10 Vdc is only possible with 24Vac/dc actuators).
Furthermore, there is also the choice between different safety positions:
an expanding return spring (E)
or
a contracting return spring (R) in the event of voltage loss. The option without a return spring (X) also exists.

Note:
For media with temperatures between 130C and 240C, high-temperature extensions are required.
