GIFLO-ILVA Flowmeter DN50 - DN200
Flowmeter with variable aperture and reset spring that produces a pressure difference proportional to the flow.
Suitable for most industrial liquids and gases, and for both saturated and superheated steam. For a general description of a flow meter with ILVA, see the datasheet.

Suitable for mounting between flanges:
- EN 1092 PN 16, 25, and 40
- ASME B 16.5 Class 150, 300, and 600
- JIS 20, KS 20
The Gilflo ILVA should be installed in BS1600 or ASME B36.10 Schedule 40 pipes. If the Gilflo ILVA is installed in pipes according to different standards and if the Gilflo ILVA needs to achieve its maximum flow rate, an adapter according to BS1600 or ASME B36.10 Schedule 40, downstream of the transducer, is required.

Characteristics:
The Gilflo ILVA is designed to work in conjunction with electronics for linearization such as the SxS microprocessor or with the electronic display type M750. Linearization of the output signal can also be done by the user's energy management system.
Accuracy when used with the SxS microprocessor or M750 +/- 1% of the measured value at flow rates from 5 to 100% of the maximum flow rate. +/-0.1% of the scale at flow rates from 1 to 5% of the maximum flow rate. Repeatability is better than 0.25%. The measuring range is up to 100:1.
Note:
The Scanner 2000 flow transmitter is configured with a specific transducer. The Scanner 2000 should always be installed with the corresponding Gilflo ILVA the serial number of the associated device is listed on the label.
Pressure Drop:
The maximum pressure drop across the GILFLO-ILVA transducer is 498 mbar at maximum flow.
Flow Rates:
To determine the capacity of the Gilflo ILVA for different media, the equivalent water capacity QE (in l/min) needs to be calculated. See "Sizing of the ILVA."
